The Role

The primary function is to ensure that all invoices follow a Purchase 2 Pay process with compliance in the procedure for integrity in the cost acceptance.

  • Ensure that costs are processed timely and accurately
  • Proactively deal with supplier queries
  • Proactively deal with commercial team enquiries
  • Follow the PO process when processing invoices
  • Manage the cashflow appropriately by making weekly assessments of the suggested payments to P2P Leader

Qualification:
None essential, but AAT desirable

Experience:
Previous experience of Purchase Ledger

Skills:
  • Strong communicator who can work along the commercial arm of the business to understand the importance and relevance of processing timely
  • Numerate and attention to detail
  • Good communicator
  • Able to support colleagues in same department to assist all achieving same goals
  • Ability to identify and drive process change and improvements
  • Office 365/SharePoint literate

The role will last two months and includes hybrid working for 37.5 hours per week.
