Our successful client based in Newport requires an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their Finance Department.

Main responsibilities:
  • Daily Matching of Purchase Orders and Purchase Invoices
  • Daily input of purchase invoices to Sage 50
  • Assist in purchase invoice approval process
  • Assist with supplier statement reconciliations
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks on the accounts and admin team

Person specifications:
  • Be able to organise, prioritise and manage own day to day workload
  • Be able to function as part of a team
  • Be a confident communicator
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail
  • Be comfortable working in a busy office environment
  • Demonstrate relevant technical know-how regarding purchase ledger operations
  • Must be willing to perform other office based duties
