Our market leading client is looking for a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join their successful team in Caerphilly. We are looking for candidates who are seeking to develop themselves, are resilient, resourceful and who fit the following:
  • Part qualified working towards ACCA/CIMA qualification
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and have a strong commitment to timely task completion
  • Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills
  • Minimum of 3 years market experience

Joining a very busy, small team in the Finance department, you will provide support and assist with:
  • Processing supplier payments
  • Provide support and assistance in the production of monthly and year-end management accounts and statutory audits
  • Cash forecasts for two companies
  • Good practical accounting / finance experience.
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Intercompany recharges and reconciliations
  • Bank/petty cash processing and reconciliations
  • Responsibility for the creation of intercompany sales invoices.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register, including accounting for additions and disposals on the general ledger
  • VAT returns

Skills required for this role:
  • Highly numerate, with first class analytical skills
  • High levels of self-motivation
  • Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills  
  • Continual drive for improvement Experience:  
  • Broad experience working across an accounts /finance environment  
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and be a proactive member of the Finance Team
