We are pleased to be working with our client, an employer of choice to recruit a Cash and Banking Officer to join their
team.
The successful candidate will report to the Finance Team Leader and will primarily be responsible for managing all the
banking and cash procedures including acting as an administrator for all bank accounts and payment systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Cash flow management including maintaining the rolling cash flow forecast
- Ensuring that daily banking procedures are followed appropriately, and cash is fully reconciled
- Monitoring and updating standing orders and direct debits including bacs reports and compliance
- Providing training and support to members of staff across the organisation who are responsible for cash management and
handling
- Acting as an administrator for the bank accounts
- Acting as an administrator for all payment systems used
- Ad hoc work as required

Person Specification – Skills and Experience:
- Good IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent administration and analytical skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- At least 3 years’ experience of working in an accounting environment
- Experience of communicating with people in a variety of situations
Person Specification – Education and Qualifications
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent, preferably in a finance related subject
- Willingness to undertake staff development as appropriate
