Reporting to the CEO, you will lead on the implementation and improvement of the financial planning, systems, controls, and reporting.
As a key member of the Leadership Team apply your leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively represent the finance function at all levels and across multiple workstreams

Overall purpose
  • To develop and manage an effective and robust finance system to support the work of the organisation.

Main responsibilities
  • With other members of the Senior Management Team support the CEO to develop and deliver a strategy and business plan for the organisation
  • Manage finances to the highest standards, including budgets, book-keeping, petty cash, payroll, pensions, tax, VAT, cash flow, forecasting and end of year accounts.
  • Work with the auditors and accountants to comply with Charities Commission SORP and other relevant legislation in the preparation of annual accounts and financial statements.
  • Prepare data and reports to inform financial decision making.
  • Carry out other varied duties that may be required.

Hours- approximately 0.6 of the full time role.
