Job Vacancy: Accounts Administrator - 32 Hour Week

Our client, established over 30 years, is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team in Newport. This role will be a mixture of accounts and admin, which you will alternate monthly between the two, offering true variety.

Duties for month 1
  • Input of monthly Purchase invoices
  • Input of monthly Sales Invoices
  • Processing of weekly wages for approximately 20 employees
  • Reconciling monthly purchase ledger statements and generating “cheque” run
  • Generating VAT returns and submitting to revenue
  • Submitting online CIS returns and Inland revenue returns to HM Inland Revenue
Duties for Month 2
  • Checking, printing and distributing of all emails
  • Opening and distributing of incoming post daily
  • Typing quotations as required
  • Generating Sales invoices as required
  • General administration duties as required
The successful candidate will have:
  • Minimum 3 years working experience with Sage line 50 Accounts and Payroll
  • Experience in all of the above duties
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in credit control would be an advantage
  • 32 Hour Working Week
