We are pleased to be working with our client, an employer of choice, to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team.
The successful candidate will report to the Purchase Ledger Supervisor and will be primarily responsible for the processing of purchase ledger invoices, reconciling supplier accounts and resolving queries as well as processing payment runs and purchase orders

Job Specific Accountabilities
  • Core deliverables:  To code and process invoices that come through the department in a timely and accurate manner and to reconcile all supplier statements for all invoices to be authorised and paid within credit terms
  • Working with suppliers: To ensure any queries are dealt with swiftly and resolved to the satisfaction of all parties
  • Working with staff: To ensure any queries are dealt with swiftly and resolved to the satisfaction of all parties
  • Housekeeping: To ensure that the finance systems particularly supplier data are accurate and up to date, including managing the aged creditor report.

  • Good IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent administration and analytical skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience of working in an accounting environment
