Tax Manager / Adviser
Our client, a well established accountancy practice, is looking for an experienced Tax Manager / Adviser to join their busy tax department three days a week. You will take responsibility for a portfolio of personal tax clients including sole traders, partnerships and company directors.
Ideally this will be an office based role although one day a week working from home will be considered.

Duties:
  • Preparation of tax returns using Iris Tax & Accounting software
  • Advise clients of tax liabilities, payment deadlines and provide general tax advise during the year
  • Prepare P11Ds
  • Prepare Capital Gains Tax Returns for property sales and other capital gains
  • Liaise with HMRC regarding clients’ tax affairs
  • Contacting and liaising with clients to obtain information and complete tax returns

Requirements:
  • Previous accounts practice experience essential
  • Strong IT skills including Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of IRIS would be advantageous although training will be given if necessary
  • Organised with good communication skills
  • Able to work to strict deadlines

This could be a full time role if the candidate is capable of taking on other accounting duties
