Notes:	We are working with a SME, Cardiff-based client to recruit a Senior Bookkeeper who will play a pivotal role in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. Key Responsibilities: Maintain organized and accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and other financial transactions. Regular bank reconciliations to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and accounted for. Preparation of VAT returns and HMRC reporting. Prepare necessary documentation and assist in financial audits. Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial procedures and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Accounts to trial balance with month-end reporting. Key Skills: AAT Qualified or equivalent Proven experience as a senior bookkeeper. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
