Job Vacancy: Finance Administrator

Salary: Up to £21,000

Our fast-growth client based in Cardiff is currently looking to recruit a Finance Administrator. They will report to the Finance Manger while assisting the Finance team and Financial Controller in operational tasks including sales invoice creation and monthly reporting.

This is a 9-month contract which may lead to a permanent role, with a salary of £16,000 - £21,000 depending on experience.

Typical duties will include:
  • Creating, processing, issuing sales invoices, credits and statements
  • Emailing or posting invoices and statements to Customers
  • Creating the customer list and issuing to the Business
  • Control and create monthly automated invoicing
  • Daily bank reconciliation
  • Posting all direct debit payments and ensuring copy invoices are in the Direct Debit file
  • Assisting with on-going Finance projects
  • Management of Finance trackers to ensure tight controls around payments
  • Coding and reviewing DNO process and payments
  • Assisting with audit preparation
  • Assisting with purchase ledger and sales ledger as requested
  • Provide additional general support and complete ad-hoc tasks as required by Group Finance team

It is essential that the suitable candidate has good communication skills, both written and verbal. Is IT literate, including Microsoft Excel, Word etc. and has the ability to work as part of a team but also as an individual, with excellent organisational skills.
