Our Client based in Tredegar is looking for an experienced Financial Controller

The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the company’s finances and the finance team.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
  • Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure
  • Supervising staff
  • Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues
  • Liaising with external accountants and auditors
  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Job costing
  • Financial Reconciliations  
  • Project reconciliation  
  • Credit Control
  • Payroll Administration both monthly and weekly payrolls

The successful applicant will:
  • Have experience as a Financial Controller
  • Have knowledge of Xero Accounts software (Desirable)
  • Have experience of management accounts
  • Have experience of accounts in the construction industry (CIS etc)
  • Be experienced in processing year end accounts
  • Be a minimum of AAT Level 4 Qualified

The hours of work are 08:30-17:00 Monday – Friday.
