Job Vacancy: Credit Controller

Salary: £20,000 - £22,000

Our Client in Ebbw Vale is currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger Controller to join their established team to ensure the smooth running of the sales ledger and discount factoring.

Main duties include:
  • Dealing with all customer queries on a timely basis, notifying the manager of any issues
  • Ensuring the efficient credit control of outstanding debt
  • Managing customers and developing good working relationships with those customers
  • Running Daily Invoicing
  • All bank reconciliations are completed including month end reporting
  • Chasing debtors including month end reconciliation reporting
  • Processing Sales invoices onto Sage and run required reports for the bank
  • Raising all relevant credit notes, attaching required documentation and requesting authorisation
  • Process all remittances received and making sure all cheques are banked
  • Processing Debtors information onto cash flow Finance website
  • Preparing debtors ledger for cash flow reporting on a weekly basis
  • Oversee Credit control and hold weekly meetings with the Finance Manager to go through any issues
  • Month end reconciliation of Debtors Ledger
  • Produce month end Debtors reconciliation for the bank
  • Oversee Client Sales invoicing process and hold weekly meetings with the
  • Produce all required documents for credit checking new customers
  • Assisting in internal audits
  • Producing ad hoc reporting
  • Assisting with Purchase Ledger when necessary
  • Carry out any other duties as and when required or requested

Qualifications & Experience:
  • AAT Qualified or working towards desirable
  • Maths GCSE – Good numerical skills
  • Good IT Skills
  • Working knowledge of Sage Accounts desirable
  • Attention to detail
  • Full Driving License
